In New York, shops are busiest on Monday mornings and before holiday weekends, so a mid-week appointment gets a car seen faster. Labor rates across New York vary by neighborhood and by shop type, from small independents to dealership service bays, and mobile mechanics now cover many routine jobs in the driveway. Before authorizing a repair, ask for the estimate in writing, whether the shop warranties parts and labor (12 months / 12,000 miles is common, some offer more), and whether it can provide a loaner or a shuttle. Check the listing for hours, the makes the shop works on and its Google rating, then call ahead, since walk-in capacity is limited at smaller shops.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are Open 24 hours. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. New York is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and New York follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

It almost felt too good to be true, especially in NYC, but it was amazing. Submitted an inquiry last night, woke up to a text to schedule this morning. Sent $98 for a diagnostic, and mechanic was on site at my car in an hour. He found the problem, fixed the problem, and the cost for service was VERY reasonable. Will use again, every time.

The mechanic came to my location after I payed $100 to tell me what’s wrong with my car just to tell me he can’t fix what was wrong with it. Why are you a mechanic and can’t fix a problem with a car ? Atleast tell me that before I pay you money that could’ve went to fixing the problem! 1/10 recommend

Made an appointment for MIDNIGHT, I thought I was in for a scam because who comes in the middle of the night. Not only did they show up but they came right on time and promptly changed my oil. Within 30 minutes everything was done. The two gentlemen were kind and very helpful, I wish I had gotten their names. They even fixed an issue with my door without me asking! Will definitely be using this service again. 10/10 recommend.
